Home Science Association Secondary
School (HSASS) was founded in 1990 by the Home Science Association. This was to
provide qualitative education for children at the secondary level. The school
has a vision to be acclaimed as the best secondary school in Nigeria concerned
with the grooming of the child’s intellectual, moral and social status that is unparalleled.
The school aims to build a new generation of leaders finely-educated, suitably
skilled, and generously endowed with the right values.
The School is blessed with seasoned
teachers, conducive and serene atmosphere, big and well-planned compound, as
well as magnificent buildings. In fact, all the good things peculiar to schools
of old coupled with the latest in the height of sophistication have their
merger in Home Science Association Secondary School.
Educational
Structure
With high values and moral standards,
HSASS has a zero-tolerance towards examination malpractice and has received
awards in this regard. This, however, has not affected the student’s
performance in external examinations, with the school posting outstanding results
in IGCSE, WAEC, and NECO.
The school has recorded impressive
success stories of its alumni ranging from politics to entertainment to medicine
to IT and so on.

The school is situated at Ajegunle-Ilo, Alakuko, off Lagos-Abeokuta
Express Way, Lagos. This location is suitably distant from the noise of
traffic, creating a serene atmosphere, but is also close enough to be easily
accessible from the highway.
The area of land occupied by HSASS spans
11 acres. This houses impressive facilities including the following:

Co-Curricular
Activities
The Home Science Association prides
itself on giving all-round education to the child that would, in the future, make
her/him fit into the society perfectly. To this end, the school has a number of
clubs and societies which promote extra-curricular activities in the school.
Students are expected to belong to some clubs and societies and participate
actively to boost physical and mental health.

Entrance
Examination Details
Home Science Association Secondary
School has announced the dates for the Entrance Examinations for the year
2020/2021 Academic Session. The exams are scheduled to hold on the following
dates:
- 7th
March 2020. - 2nd
May 2020. - 4th
July 2020.
The venue will be on the school premises and “Home Science Association Nursery and
Primary School, 5, Ruxton Road, Ikoyi, Lagos”.
