Resources Intermediaries Limited, a Human consulting firm in Lagos has made a scholarship donation of N900,000 to support less-privileged indigenes through the Concerned Parents and Educators Network (CPE).

This was made known in a meeting between executives of the firm and CPE, an NGO focused on solving the problems in the Nigerian education sector.

Speaking in a meeting with the NGO, an Executive Director of the firm, Mr Ade Awonaike said the donation was the firm’s way of giving back to the society following their 15th anniversary.

The donation was made to continue the support of 15 less-privileged indigenes from the six geo-political zones in Nigeria.

In her statement, the national coordinator of CPE, Mrs Kemi Koleowo thanked the firm for its intervention to help those in need to further their educational, citing that the government has failed in its part to provide quality education to its citizens.

She lauded the firm’s commitment to education and its decision to partner with the NGO to make an impact in the society. She encouraged other organizations to follow suit.

Mr Awonaike also promised that the organization would do more, and promised to sponsor the indigent students up to their tertiary education.
