The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has released the top 10 most sought after ten private universities in Nigeria judging from the choice of candidates that sat the 2021 UTME exam.
It also stated the number of students that gained admission into these various private institutions.
This was announced at the policy meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
The table below is the breakdown of the application statistics, showing the top ten private universities judging by how many candidates picked them and how many gained admission.
Babcock University, Ilishan-Remo, Ogun State had 3,854 applicants while 3,251 candidates gained admissions into this institution. Followed by Bamidele Olumilua University of Edu. Science and Tech. Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State.
