A moment of celebration is for the Staff, Students, and Parents of CITA International School, Port-Harcourt, during the school’s 40th Anniversary.

The week-long celebration started with the school’s Gastronomy Day to showcase food and culture in their environment, whilst on Tuesday, 11th of May was dedicated to Sanitation Day and on Wednesday, 12th of May was Art and Craft Day to exhibit skills and creative works of the Nursery and Primary pupils.

The Founder and CEO of the school, Peggy Adukeh said, despite the fact that the school started with just the nursery school in 1981, it later got expanded to the primary and secondary school.

Peggy Adukeh, said the school has churned out graduates who are now at the forefront of success and has grown to be great leaders in different companies both within and outside Nigeria.

She said “In CITA we strive to have certain qualities; discipline, order and excellence, and these has gone out to the environment”.

She appreciates the students and teachers for their sacrificial support towards the growth of the school.

“We like excellent and our students and teachers have all gone out to project these image around Port- Harcourt, The trainings we’ve had have impacted not only the students in CITA but every other child that my staff come in contact with, the children as well have done the same, i think we’ve come a long way in projecting these qualities” she said.
