Seventy one academics from Nigerian universities have been rated among the top rated two per cent academics in the world.

This is according to Standford University research, compiled by statisense.

Statisense is a data tech company with expertise in data analysis, market survey, info-graphics and training.

The universities that produced these academics include the University of Ibadan, Covenant University, Federal University of Technology, Akure and the University of Lagos among others.
