The National Universities Commission has made a list of 58 universities operating illegally in the country.
In a statement made available on its official website, the commission stated that certificates obtained from any of the institutions are invalid.
NUC said certificates obtained from the institutions will not be recognized for National Youth Service Corps, employment, and further studies.
The statement read, “For the avoidance of doubt, anybody who patronizes or obtains any certificate from any of these illegal institutions does so at his or her own risk,” the statement read.
