Kwara State University (KWASU) has issued an official public notice confirming the completion of its 2024/2025 undergraduate admission process.
With classes already in session, the University emphasizes that admissions have officially closed and cautions the public against falling prey to fraudulent schemes.
Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, Acting Director of University Relations, clarified the importance of this announcement.
“This notice has become important to prevent any member of the public from falling victim to fraud,” Dr. Aliyu stated. KWASU management strongly advises the public to disregard any communication from unknown individuals, particularly on social media or via personal messages, falsely promising admission assistance at specific locations.
“There is no directive of this nature from the Management,” Dr. Aliyu warned, emphasizing the need for vigilance against “unscrupulous individuals who would prey on [the public’s] needs.”
KWASU further reiterated that any official university announcements are solely issued through formal channels, such as signed statements by authorized university officers.
With this warning, KWASU aims to protect prospective students and their families from fraudulent schemes, urging them to trust only credible information channels as the academic year progresses.
