Kayode has also revolutionized mathematics education by integrating local languages such as Yoruba (Ijebu dialect) and Hausa into his teaching, making learning more accessible and relatable for students. During the COVID-19 pandemic, his efforts through Ogun DigiClass on OGTV ensured uninterrupted learning for students across the state.
Recognized as the 2nd Runner-Up Best Teacher in Nigeria (2023), Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement Fellow, and Limitless Global Educator (2024), Kayode is also a member of the Greater Akron Mathematics Society (GAMES), affiliated with the Ohio Council of Teachers of Mathematics, USA. His contributions include digital literacy initiatives and the development of the Technology-Assisted Academic Management Solutions (TAIMS) platform, which bridges education gaps with innovative tools.
Reflecting on his journey, Kayode shared, “My passion for teaching was ignited during a transformative ninth-grade mathematics lesson. Since then, I’ve been committed to inspiring educators and students to unlock their potential.”
As an advocate of the Ogun State Education Revitalization Agenda (OGSERA), led by Professor Abayomi Arigbabu, Kayode remains a key figure in promoting education reform and development in Nigeria.
