The Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) community is reeling in shock and grief following the tragic murder of Dr. Osita Chinedu, a senior lecturer, by unknown gunmen in Awka, Anambra State.
Dr. Chinedu, a respected and dedicated academic, was brutally killed on Monday night while driving his Toyota Corolla in the High Tension area. Eyewitnesses report that the lecturer was intercepted by a group of armed assailants, who shot him twice in the head before fleeing the scene with his vehicle.
