Aside from doing school assignments and homework’s, children
are very quick to shy away from writing. This eventually shows in the trend of
their schoolwork overtime, parents can save the child early deficiencies by
seeing it as a challenge and planning for it. There are different ways parents
can go about this seamlessly, here we will discuss a few tips for planning
writing schedules for the child.

  • Get the child to take interest in reading, it is
the stepping stone to better writing, it helps children understand the
    strengths of their writing skills
  • Make the writing fun, infuse creativity by
displaying tangible items in their grasp to write about
  • Create writing worksheets; this sheet will be
designed by parents to include different topics and byline to instigate
writing. These sheets may look like their day to day school work book.
  • Letter writing is a more known way to help with
children writing skills. It could be streamlined more to letter samples that
suit specifics and modern out style. Cover letter writing etc.
  • Encourage them to take down their daily experiences
in writing. One can provide them with writing materials for this purpose,
    checking from time to time.
  • Time is essential, to see your children improve
their writing skills; one must invest the necessary time. This is to be part of
    their development.

It is more important to also breed the child in an Academic
Environment that encourages the Childs writing skills so as to compliment for
the work done outside it. An academic environment that checks for grammar,
tenses, line spacing and good handwriting etc.
