East High Academy and College was founded by Mr. Albert Graham Meredith, a British educator, and pastor, with a vision to inspire and encourage students to be world leaders and innovators; transforming every sphere of the society.
The College is located in Area H, New Court Owerri, the school provides a home-away-from-home environment with state of the art facilities and modern-day technology to create, access and individualize learning. Some of these include the Science Lab, Dormitories, Laundry Room, Sports Center, ICT Lab, Fine Arts Lab, Leader’s Lounge and E-Library.
East High Academy and College utilizes a British – Nigerian based curriculum and follows the West African Examination Council (WAEC) curriculum as well as the Cambridge International Examination (CIE) curriculum. Students are prepared for Basic Education Curriculum Examination, WASSCE, JAMB, IGCSE; and SAT and TOEFL examinations for entries into universities in North America.
