CPE Appoints Dr. Segun Oshin as Chairman Board of Trustees

The Concerned Parents and Educators (CPE) group has appointed Dr. Segun Oshin as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees (BOT).

This announcement was made by a prominent member of the group, Mrs. Yinka Ogunde.

“We are starting on a good note in 2025. Please join me to welcome Dr. Segun Oshin as he assumes chairmanship of the Concerned Parents and Educators (CPE) Board of Trustees. His nomination was approved at the BOT meeting yesterday,” Mrs. Ogunde stated.

She added, “Dr. Oshin has been of tremendous support to us at CPE, and we are confident that his wealth of experience and visionary leadership will take us to greater heights.”

Dr. Segun Oshin brings a wealth of expertise and an impressive academic background to the role. A medical graduate from the University of Ibadan, he also holds a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, U.S.A. He is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians and the Royal Society of Medicine, United Kingdom, among other prestigious qualifications.

With a distinguished career spanning both public and private sectors, Oshin has managed and directed impactful developmental projects for organizations such as the African Development Bank, World Bank, UNDP, and various levels of government in Nigeria. Notably, he served as a Consultant to the Governor of Ogun State on Health Matters (2003-2005) and was the immediate past Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State.

In addition to his professional achievements, Oshin is deeply involved in charitable activities and serves on the boards of several companies. His dedication to developmental causes and his long-standing support for CPE make him a valuable asset to the organization.
