Concerned Parents and Educators in Nigeria have expressed alarm over the widespread examination malpractice that has compromised the integrity of the country’s education system. The prevalence of cheating during exams is a growing concern that weakens the foundation of the education system and raises questions about the future of Nigeria’s youth and its development.

According to the Parents and Educators, the Nigerian government is urged to take strong actions to eradicate the problem of examination malpractice from the education system. The government has a crucial responsibility to ensure the integrity of examinations and must implement measures to prevent cheating during exams.

The use of technology, such as online proctoring services, is one solution that can be implemented to monitor and prevent cheating. In addition to preventing cheating, the Concerned Parents and Educators call for harsh penalties for those caught engaging in malpractice.

To support educators, they also call on the government to provide better resources to ensure that they can deliver quality education and adequately prepare students for examinations.

The group of Concerned Parents and Educators are committed to working with the government to address the issue of examination malpractice and ensure that Nigeria’s children receive the quality education they deserve. By working together, they believe that they can create a brighter future for Nigeria’s youth and the country’s overall development.
