It was a day of joy, honour, and festivity as Blooming Greens School, Yaba, Lagos, celebrated the remarkable achievement of Mrs. Olawale, who recently earned the prestigious title of Best Primary School Teacher in Nigeria.

In recognition of her dedication and excellence, the school awarded her a generous sum of ₦500,000 during its 2024 Christmas Concert held today.

The ceremony began with a stirring rendition of the national anthem led by the school choir, followed by an opening prayer delivered by the Vice Principal of Academics, Mr. Akintunde Oladipupo.

The event was graced by numerous dignitaries, including officials from the Lagos State Ministry of Education Quality Assurance Department.

Mrs. Susan Babatunde-Yamah, CEO of Blooming Greens School, delivered the opening speech, emphasizing the significance of the Green Christmas theme. .

She noted that green symbolizes growth and life, encouraging parents to embrace the spirit of giving and togetherness during the festive season.

The ceremony featured a variety of colourful Christmas presentations from different classes and a captivating performance by the school choir. The head girl, Miss Tamilore, gave the first Bible reading, setting a reflective tone for the event.

Guest speaker, Miss Chibuzo Unachukwu, founder of Safeglia Consult, provided insightful advice to parents on how to keep their children safe and engaged during the holiday period.

In the spirit of the season, Mrs. Yamah presented the 2024 charity donations to various beneficiaries, including the Concerned Parents and Educators Network.

The pinnacle of the celebration was the recognition of Mrs. Olawale’s exceptional achievement.
