Alpha Childcare held the Early Years Conference 2024
The year 2024 Early Years Conference held Saturday 13th July at the Landmark Events Centre VI, Lagos was truly a remarkable event.
In attendance was the Chairman of the board, Mr Niyi Adesanya; Mrs Ibukun Awosika who delivered the Keynote speech; Ronke Adeniyi, a special guest and other distinguished speakers.
A panel Discussion was done on “Compassionate Leadership” which is an approach calling on school owners to show empathy and provide alternative motivation to making the teaching profession more attractive to teachers and educators. The session was moderated by Dr. Naomi Osemedua having 4 panelists; Tope Adenuga, Tope Egoh, Dr. Yemisi Akindele and Oluwatoyin Zoe-Omonkhogbe.
Awards and grants given to schools on behalf of the Caroline Popoola Foundation (Alpha Global). Splendid Minds Junior Academy received a grant of N3, 211, 350. Others received 750k, 790k, 450k, 900k, respectively. The likes of Redeemers Power Nur and Pry School, Royal Road School, Gloriette Schools and more.
The Conference was an energetic event. Teachers and well-wishers brought a wave of enthusiasm, making it a day of inspiration and learning.
The vote of thanks given by Mrs Popoola Caroline, the CEO Alpha Childcare and Alpha Chains Limited. She spoke saying “Resilience is a choice, it’s you choosing to rise from circumstances no matter how difficult it is and become the person you are meant to be”. She further expressed her gratitude to all that made the event possible and applauded her team for a job well done.
