Unilorin to Host 55th Nigerian Association of Law Teachers Conference

The Faculty of Law at the University of Ilorin has disclosed preparation to host the 55th Nigerian Association of Law Teachers (NALT) Conference, scheduled for October 27th to 31st, 2024.

This year’s theme, “Law, Democratic Consolidation and National Development,” promises to foster engaging discussions and insights into the critical role of law in shaping Nigeria’s democratic landscape and supporting national growth.

According to the statement on the school Facebook page, participants can look forward to a comprehensive program that includes a variety of sessions, networking opportunities, and workshops.

The conference will take place in the Main Auditorium and Faculty of Law at the University of Ilorin, providing an ideal setting for legal scholars, practitioners, and students to connect and share knowledge.

Registration is now open, with fees structured to accommodate different categories.

Institutional and individual registrations are available, with fees ranging from N20,000 for Lecturers and below to N30,000 for Readers and Professors.

The conference registration fee is N50,000 for members and N100,000 for non-members, while international participants can register for US$200. Online participants can join for N10,000 or US$20. .

All registration fees include a conference bag, materials, lunch, and tea breaks throughout the event.

The Local Organising Committee has arranged favourable accommodation rates with nearby hotels, ensuring a comfortable stay for attendees.

Transport options, including commercial buses and taxis, will be readily available to shuttle participants between hotels and the conference venue.

Early bird registration is open from August 1st to September 30th, 2024, with the first 300 registrants receiving unique conference souvenirs. Late registration will incur an additional fee of N30,000 starting October 1st.
