Three graduates from the Faculty of Law at Lagos State University (LASU) have been honored with the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
This historic accomplishment, announced by the Legal Practitioners Privileges Committee (LPPC), celebrates Boonyamen Babajide Lawal, Olasupo Ati-John, and Oluwolemi Esan as part of the elite cohort of 87 new silks for the year 2024.
The LPPC, the exclusive authority responsible for the appointment of SANs, recognized these exceptional legal professionals for their exemplary practice and contribution to the legal field.
The announcement detailed that the official swearing-in ceremony is slated for Monday, September 30, 2024.
The Senior Advocate of Nigeria designation is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a legal practitioner in Nigeria. The Vice Chancellor of Lagos State University, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, together with the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Kareem Olatoye, extended hearty congratulations to the new SANs.
