The South East Educators Conference was held on the 18th & 19th of April, 2024 at Nike Lake Resort, Enugu State and was themed; FUTURE-FOCUSED LEARNING: IGNITING THE COMPETITIVE EDGE.
The 2-day event was graced with School Owners, Heads of Schools (Public and Private), Educational Stakeholders, Counselors, Teachers, Parents and All Educators from across the country. It featured a diverse lineup of speakers, covering topics ranging from holistic learning approaches to cutting-edge technology integration.
The Covener of the event, Barr. Mrs. Doris Chinedu-Okoro during her opening address acknowledged the presence of the attendees saying “it is a testament to their unwavering support to betterment through education.” She also said that we cannot improve the education sector alone and encouraged networking.
The CEO, Sabi Holdings, Chinonso Ogbogu during his session on Building Structures For Growth in Schools said “In delivering leadership, it’s not really about the beauty of your idea, it’s about the strength of your endurance.” He also said that Excellence is annoying, Consistency is tiring but Growth is compulsory.
As Angelina Ikeakor, Governor at Sydney Russell School London spoke on Global Citizenship, she emphasized that the strength of an educational system is in the ability to shape complete human beings. She further said that, “Our philosophies and values are the core foundations of qualitative education.”
The event was truly a beautiful time of learning and improving knowledge needed to make a lasting impact on the educational landscape of South-Eastern Nigeria.
