School Business Roundtable Unveils New Edition for November

The School Business Roundtable Edition of October was an insightful experience that was headlined by the topic “Creating Better Crisis Management Strategies in Schools”.

The
event which was warmly received saw a great turn out from participants such as
school administrators, educational facilitators and key influencers in the
educational sector in the country. Mrs. Yinka Ogunde, the pacesetter of the
school business roundtable, was as assertive as ever, highlighting the need for
better Crisis Management Strategies for school.

The
October Edition of the School Business Round Table was an interactive session
between all participants at the event, sharing ideas about the dangers of poor
crisis management in Schools and how it can make or mar the development,
reputation, and quality of education in a school.

Mrs.
Yinka Ogunde mentioned that crisis can come in whatever form in a school
administrative sector: “crisis can come in the form of technological barrier,
financial barrier, organizational barrier, personal or natural barrier”. She
further stated that natural barrier can come in form of natural hazards that
might lead to casualties, destruction of schooling facilities which might cause
a chain reaction that would make other forms of crises spring up and before it
can be put under control, a lot would have gone wrong and there might be no
redemption, correction or solution.

School
owners were made to realize that sometimes a crisis is not always the fault of
the organization because uncontrollable factors can create unanticipated
situations that force your business to respond immediately. Thus the onus lies
on the administrative arm of the school to have a crisis management team or an
administrative system that is always proactive and not reactive in identifying
issues, factors and occurrences that can lead to a crisis in the organization
and then come up with suitable measures to forestall, adjust or rectify such
issues.

As
against the usual belief that “school business isn’t like every business”, the
event was a mental reconstruction for School owners, Principals as well as
Administrators. It made them realize that school business is just like every
other where you have to be on your toes, spot errors and address them as well
as make developmental steps that would keep your school surging forward with
high standards and achieving all its set goals.

The
October edition of The School Business Roundtable was a knowledge packed event,
which saw a lot of key influencers in the educational sector praise and applaud
the laudable efforts of Edumark Educational Consulting Company which has made
giants strides in orientating and educating school owners on identifying and
rectifying crisis in any form for a better, productive School Business.

Having achieved great success in the previous School Business Roundtable Event tagged “Creating Better Crisis Management Strategies in Schools”, there is more to come in November, as the new edition of the School Business Roundtable would be happening in November and is tagged “Internal Marketing: The Key to School Growth”. The event which would be taking place at the Neca House, Ikeja from 10 am-3 pm would also be an interactive session that would be geared at creating better relationships between Parents, School Owners, Administrators, Teachers, Head Teachers and Key influencers in the school environment.
