Atilade Oluwafunmilola Iyabode, a teacher at Abesan Senior High School a Government Owned School in Lagos State, made an inspiring choice when returning to work after SIX MONTHS OF MATERNITY LEAVE. She decided to wear her school uniform for two significant reasons:
- Fostering Belonging: By wearing the school uniform, Mrs. Oluwafunmilola aimed to feel more connected to the school community, nurturing a sense of belonging with her students and colleagues.
- Setting an Example: She wanted to set a positive example for her students by following the school’s dress code policies. This showcased consistency, respect for the school’s rules, and reinforced discipline and unity among the students.
Her decision goes beyond attire; it reflects her commitment to her students and the institution, making her a role model for all.
