Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School Yaba(Alumni Association)to inaugurate new Executive council.

The Alumni Association of Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School Yaba will on Thursday 25th of November inaugurate a new set of executives to run the Association for the next two years.

According to the publicity secretary Eniola Salu, the inauguration ceremony will hold in the school hall and it will be attended by the School Administrator, Rev(Sis) Martina, the outgoing Exco led by a very distinguished old girl Mrs Josephine Effah-Chukwuma as well as the incoming Executive Council members. Also expected are year set leaders.

Mrs Salu also stated that the key objective of the incoming executive council will be on the theme “STRONGER TOGETHER” . This she pointed out will promote love, care and unity amongst all the Association members some of whom are in their 70s and 80s .

Our Lady of Apostles Secondary School Yaba was established in 1956 as an institution for raising confident, capable and outstanding young ladies .

Some of the distinguished old girls are ..Dr(mrs) Helen Boyo-Ekwueme, wife of the former Vice President Chief(Dr) Alex Ekwueme, Mrs Margaret Koshoni(wife of Vice Admiral Patrick Koshoni(former chief of Naval staff), Mrs Yeside Pam-Pam, Chief(Mrs) Cecilia Tukuru, Col Margaret Obigho, Mrs Funke Adekoya(SAN) Dr Adetoun Dipeolu, Prof Veronica Ufoegbune, Mrs Dayo Atoyebi, Dr Kenny Wenike-Briggs etc.

The ceremony is scheduled to hold at 10am
