The Old Student Association of Our Lady Of Apostles Secondary School Yaba today inaugurated a new executive council led by Mrs. Yinka Ogunde CEO Edumark Consult and Founder concerned parents and educators network.
The ceremony which was held at the school premises had in attendance the school administrator, the Rev sister Martina as well as other distinguished old girls such as Mrs. Cecilia Tukuru (1960 set ) Mrs Chibututu ( 1964 set)
Mrs. Folusho Laode, Mrs. Funmi lLawal, etc.
In the handover speech, the outgoing president Mrs Josephine Effah Chukwuma listed some achievements the association made in the last five years
- Raising of funds for the new administrative block
- The association got registered with the CAC
- A physical office was set up in the school and a full time staff hired
The new president Mrs Yinka Ogunde thanked the outing executives and expressed her desire to ensure that the new executive council builds on the solid foundation laid down.
The highlight of the program was the announcement by the school administrator rev sister Martina Mbagwu that the computer lab will be named after Mr innocent Chukwuma country director of ford foundation and the husband of the outgoing president Mrs Josephine Effah Chukwuma.
