NECO Sets Timeline for 2024 SSCE Coordination, Marking

The National Examination Council (NECO) has unveiled the schedule for the coordination and marking of scripts for the 2024 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

The examination body has laid out a detailed timeline to ensure a smooth and efficient process throughout the marking period.

On August 20, 2024, NECO staff will commence their arrival, accompanied by an Examiners Audit aimed at preparing the team for the tasks ahead.

The following two days, August 21 and 22, will be dedicated to an Audit Exercise for Team Leaders (TLs), Examination General Invigilators (EGIs), and other key personnel involved in the coordination process. This crucial audit will ensure that all examiners are prepared and well-equipped to conduct their responsibilities effectively.

On August 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM, the General Coordination meeting will take place, serving as a pivotal point for all involved in the examination process to align their strategies and expectations.

This meeting is expected to set the tone for the marking exercise, focusing on best practices and quality assurance.

After weeks of rigorous coordination and marking activities, the NECO staff will conclude their duties with a departure on September 8, 2024.
