LASUBEB, NGO Empower Teachers with Essential Skills to Boost Literacy

In a bid to elevate English language proficiency in Lagos State Public Primary Schools, the Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), in collaboration with a dedicated non-governmental organization, has launched a three-day training programme for teachers specializing in Early Childhood Care Development Education (ECCDE).

This initiative is a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education by focusing on effective reading instruction.

The comprehensive training is designed to equip teachers with the necessary skills and strategies to foster a strong foundation in reading and language skills among young learners.

By prioritizing the development of these essential competencies, LASUBEB aims to ensure that students in public primary schools receive the support they need to excel academically and communicate effectively.

This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of both LASUBEB and their NGO partners to invest in the professional development of educators, ultimately contributing to improved educational outcomes and a brighter future for the children of Lagos State.
