Lagos State University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Prof. Idowu Odunayo Senbanjo, the Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health at Lagos State University College of Medicine, on his recent induction as a Fellow of the Nigerian Academy of Medicine.
Senbanjo was honoured during the 2024 Annual Lecture and Induction Ceremony held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at the Reiz Continental Hotel in Abuja.
This recognition highlights his significant contributions to the medical field, particularly as a consultant Pediatric Gastroenterologist/Nutritionist.
“The induction of Prof. Senbanjo into the prestigious Body is a great feat and a well-deserved reward for his years of celebrated work,” said Prof. Olatunji-Bello. She further expressed her wishes for “more recognition in his chosen field,” acknowledging the impact of his dedication and expertise on both the university and the broader medical community.
