Recognizing the efforts of Lagos state teachers is of great importance to the State government.
To show appreciation and reward outstanding teachers who have worked hard to contribute to the educational development of every child through diligence and innovative methodology in the classrooms, the Lagos State Ministry of Education holds a retreat for the semifinalists at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Ikeja, as part of the award ceremony slated for tomorrow 30th of March 2021.
In attendance was the Lagos State Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo who stressed that the governor is committed to the development of education in the state. She also acknowledges the key role teachers play in society.
Permanent secretary ministry of education Mrs. Abosede Omobolanle Adelaja in her address congratulated the teachers who made it to the semi-finals and commended the nomination panel for their commitment toward the success recorded so far in this year teacher merit award.
Others present at the retreat were Mrs Lai koiki chairman nomination committee, other members of the committee, and distinguished speakers, Mr. Praise Fowowe, Mrs kehinde Nwani and Mrs Ayo Njideaka
