KWASU: Professor Binta Sulyman Appointed Osi Campus Dean of Faculty of Environmental Sciences

Professor Binta Ajibola Sulyman has been appointed as the Dean of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences and the Head of the Kwara State University (Osi Campus).

This appointment, officially communicated through a letter dated October 21, 2024, was signed by the university’s Registrar, Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee.

The letter highlighted that Professor Sulyman was chosen for her outstanding leadership qualities and extensive experience.

Prior to this new role, Professor Sulyman served as the Head of the Department of Fine and Applied Arts and was also the Director of the Centre for Archives and Documentation. Her academic journey is rooted deeply in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, where she has specialized in Art Education as well as Visual and Creative Arts.

Professor Sulyman’s association with Kwara State University began in 2012, and her remarkable contributions led to her being elevated to the rank of Professor in 2019.

Her appointment as Dean and Head of Campus marks another milestone in her illustrious career, promising a future of innovation and growth for the university’s Osi campus.
