James Hope College is a value-driven
educational institution where life values are inculcated in young ones so that
they can have a deep sense of responsibility to themselves and their immediate
societies, to be honest, upright in character, incorruptible and fair to all. The
school has a primary goal of becoming the preferred secondary school for
parents who desire high-quality education and enhanced skills development for
their education while ensuring that the educational fees are fair and
affordable for all parents.

Curriculum

In a bid to raise students who would set
the bar and exceed academic standards home and abroad, the school employs the National Curriculum of England and Wales
as a starting framework for the knowledge, skills, and understanding which has
set for all students gain.

The school also has, as part of its curriculum,
the Nigerian curricula, which was
added to broaden the academic horizon of the students and help them succeed in
indigenous examinations as well as international examinations.

High-quality teaching and learning
experiences that would foster creativity and innovation in students is
encouraged and provided in the school. Coupled with a healthy ratio of one teacher to 20 students, the school
has been able to solidify itself as a modern college where educational
productivity is the end result of all learning efforts. There are also well-defined
courses offered to Junior and Senior School students to prepare them for
optimal academic performance in NECO,
WAEC and International assessments
such as CIE and IGCSE.
