Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic announces adjustments to 2023/2024 academic calendar

Isa Mustapha Agwai I Polytechnic, Lafia (IMAP) has officially announced changes to its 2023/2024 academic calendar in a recent press release from the Office of the Registrar.

In the 8th Regular Meeting of the Academic Board held on August 7, 2024, several key decisions were made to accommodate the ongoing academic and administrative needs of the institution.

The most significant adjustment involves the scheduling of the 2nd semester examinations for IMAP Consultancy Students. Initially set for an earlier date, the examinations are now rescheduled to commence on August 19, 2024.

Following the completion of these exams, mainstream programs will proceed with their respective schedules.

This adjustment is designed to ensure that all students have ample time to prepare and complete their academic requirements efficiently.

The Office of the Registrar has urged all students who have not yet completed their registration to do so by August 16, 2024, to avoid any disruptions to their academic progress.

The institution has issued an apology for any confusion caused by the previous circular released on August 7, 2024, which announced the suspension of examinations.

The current announcement supersedes the previous communication, and the institution deeply regrets any inconvenience this may have caused.

The memo was circulated to all staff and students, with copies also sent to the Acting Rector, Principal Officers, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments (HODs), and the Student Union Government (SUG).
