IPOB ESN militants attack Junior school students

ESN militants allegedly attack an Imo school, preventing students from completing their Junior Secondary School Examination and setting fire to staff and student motorcycles.

The attack occurred September 13, at Comprehensive Secondary School in Nkume, Njaba Local Government Area, Imo state, as pupils were prepared to sit for English in the ongoing JSSCE.

As the attackers fired intermittently and set their motorcycles on fire, the students and teachers scattered in all directions.

It also comes at a time when the outlawed group has declared a sit-at-home day on Mondays in the South-East region. The announcement was made in order to rally support for their detained leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
