ICPAN Honours NASENI Finance Director with Doctorate Award

The Institute of Corporate & Public Administrators of Nigeria (ICPAN) awarded Jibrin Rajab Haske, the Finance Director of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), an honorary doctorate.

The ceremony took place on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at the Merit House in Maitama, Abuja, with a gathering of management and staff from NASENI there to support Dr. Haske.

In addition to Haske, a total of 15 distinguished Nigerians from various sectors received honorary doctorate awards, while another 15 were honored with Fellowship status for their exemplary contributions to leadership and management in both public and private sectors. Furthermore, two individuals were admitted as full members of ICPAN.

During the investiture ceremony, the National President of ICPAN, Prof. Damian Opata, emphasized the importance of the honor, urging all awardees to serve as good ambassadors for the institute and to uphold its values in their respective fields.

In a heartfelt statement following the award presentation, Dr. Haske expressed his gratitude, stating, “I am highly elated. This award is a testament and recognition of our moderate contributions at the Agency. I thank the EVC/CEO of NASENI, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu and all the staff for their supports.” His commitment to excellence was evident as he pledged to continue giving his best to the Agency.

The event commenced with warm remarks from the Director-General of ICPAN, HRH Igwe Prof. Sir V.C. Onah, who congratulated the awardees, fellows, full members, and distinguished guests for their engagement with the institute’s mission to promote professionalism.

Adding to the evening, the National Vice President of ICPAN, Prof. Olumuyiwa Afiprisoro, delivered an insightful paper on “Regional Policing & Crime Reduction in Nigeria,” addressing critical issues impacting the nation.
