Honeyland College – Training Children for Global Impact

Honeyland College is a co-educational
secondary school with a high focus for technology. Founded in 2006, the school
has since produced students who can think for themselves, respect the dignity
of labour, and appreciate the good values of life. They build in the students a
desire for achievement and self-improvement both in school and later in life.

The school has guiding principles. These
include Integrity, Fear of God, and Discipline. These are imbibed in the
children to impact in them mental and physical skills and abilities necessary
to live and contribute to the development of the society.

Educational
Structure

The school has a rich curriculum aimed
at the development of the children. The school operates a unique blend of the British and Nigerian Curricula. This is delivered by teachers with
international training and exposure in different fields of learning. This has
led to outstanding performances in both internal and external examinations.
Some of the examinations offered at the school include CHECKPOINT, IGCSE, WAEC, and JSCE.

Parents are encouraged to get involved in the education of the students for

Co-Curricular
Activities

Honeyland College has a host of
extra-curricular activities. It is believed at the school that learning does
not stop within the four walls of the classroom. For this reason, the school
has incorporated countless activities to give the students the required
exposure necessary for their total development. Some of these include Inter-House
Sports, Special Music Class, Quiz/Debate/Spelling Bee, Swimming, Dance,
Etiquette, Local and foreign excursions/field trips, among others.
