Facebook Group Continues Philanthropical Activities, Donate To Low-Cost Schools In Lagos

Concerned Parents and Educators Initiative (CPE) in conjunction with the Association of Formidable Education Development (AFED) resumed the second leg of their visit to low-cost schools on 25th of September 2019. The visitation featured Mrs. Yinka Ogunde, CPE, Mrs. Dada, AFED, and their respective teams of enthusiastic persons.

The group set out at about 10:35 am in a convoy as they arrived their first point of contact, Sabaoth International School, Iwaya in the Yaba axis of Lagos State. Although, weather conditions were inconsequential but the team remained full of life as they were welcomed by the Schools receiving party.

Mrs. Yinka Ogunde CPE swung straight into action by greeting children, taking pictures with beneficiaries and giving her charge/remarks. Mrs. Dada, AFED also spoke to the waiting party, she told them about the essence of the event and how it was put together to give more opportunity to the less privileged. Parents expressed their joy about the Donations and they prayed for Mrs. Yinka Ogunde and her team saying “You people will never lack anything good”.

The team proceeded to Springland School were they engaged in similar activities, welcomed by the receiving party and children who recited their famous welcome address to visitors. VojSem School, New Covenant Anglican School, Christ Image Foundation, Sam Aga Gods love School, Dam Esther Nur/Pry School, Gods wisdom & Grace Private School and Neidwilson Nur/Pry School all got donations from the team. It will be recalled that this exercise had started a week ago with six schools, taking the number of schools who received donations to sixteen according to faith, CPE, a team member.

The exercise ended some minutes after 3pm, visibly, there was a sense of fulfillment and assurance as the team thanked the almighty God for making the exercise possible as they dispersed to continue their respective tasks.
