Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, the Chairman of the school gave his message in absence, and charged the students to carry the Vivian Fowler flag and keep it flying. Mr. Obafela Bank-Olemoh, the guest minister charged them to be civilized but not be westernized, encouraging them to focus on the Giant, grapes and God in the journey that lies ahead of them.

She also praised the foundation that Vivian Fowler will be giving them urging them to be the best at who they are, invest in the wealth of knowledge that they have and to kill any sense of entitlement especially from their parents.

Ms Rahila Danjuma also spoke saying that they have been given tools that they aren’t aware of which will be needed on their journey in life. She encouraged them saying they should be bold and have audacity, to keep to their daily routine, that mediocrity is unacceptable, to strife for excellence, to operate on a plan that will keep them focused. She also stated the importance of sisterhood (friends, connection) and they should remember their root and find a way to contribute back to their country.
