Dansol High School Charges Its Graduands to Keep God’s Word in Their Hearts

The grand opening of the 23rd valedictory ceremony of Dansol High School started with a joyous note of thanksgiving on Saturday 6th, July, 2019 at the school’s main hall.

The school graduated about 100 students in partial fulfilment of their six years academic journey acquired through moral standards.

It was a time of reflection, celebration, thanksgiving and joy as parents and well-wishers graced the occasion to share, dance, and congratulate the graduating students who all turned up in their colourful traditional white and blue attire. This added aesthetic to the event.

One of the graduating students, Miss Adebola Abodunrin, caught the attention of the audience with her style of dressing and dancing steps.

The school President/Executive Director, Mrs. Adun Akinyemiju, said she was so joyous and full of gratitude to Almighty God for making the event a reality. She expressed her appreciation to parents for their support for buying into the school’s vision and mission. However, she

appreciated the chairperson, Mrs. Olubukola Ajoku and family for their commitment to the school over the years.

According to Mrs. Akinyemiju, she said Mrs. Ajoku’s family have had their children passed

through Dansol High School for the past 17 years.

“You all have spent time to nurture your children; thank you”, she remarked.

On the other hand, she congratulated all graduands and presented to them a treasure without measure (the Bible). She thereafter enjoined them to keep the word of God at heart and never depart from it.

Mrs. Akinyemiju, enjoined parents for their continuous support.

Ministering at the event, Apostle Wole Oladiyun of Clam Church, urged the graduating students to imbibe the habit of self-discipline. “Don’t disconnect yourself from the altar of righteousness. You need the wisdom of God to adapt to different terrain”, he added.

Addressing the graduanads, the special Guest of Honour, Mrs. Oluremi Adeyeye advised the students, “To attain greater height always depend on God in any step you want to take.

To spice up the event, there were lined up presentations by the students. The cultural troop, choir and music added more flavour to the joyous moment.

Cultural appearances by the graduating students wowed the audience as they displayed their prowess to cultural dance on stage.

The Executive Director of the School, Mr. E. A Oladapo, took a voyage into past records of Dansol High School. He highlighted some of the achievements School’s. In his words, “Dansol High School has been represented in many competitions, inside and outside the country with outstanding awards and recognitions. 

Gifts and awards were presented to outstanding students in different subjects by the school Director, Mrs. Adun Akinyemiju.

Some parents were also presented with gifts and awards for the invaluable contributions to the development of the school.

The most outstanding student with the title, “Miss Excellence”, Miss Isibor Desree Deborah was applauded when she was announced as the best graduating student for the year.

Addressing other students, ‘Miss Excellence’ urged her fellow students to be hard working. “Whatever has a beginning must have an end. Today marks a new phase in our lives as graduating students. For those that are coming behind us, be focus on your study, study hard and be self-disciplined. Remember what you are here for and what your priorities are. You and you alone are responsible for your success. If you want the results, you have to put in hard work. The sky is your starting point”, she concluded.
