The Concerned Parents and Educators Initiative( CPE) has called on the Federal government to improve security nationwide.
In a statement signed by the Founder of the group Mrs Yinka Ogunde as well as the National Coordinator, Mrs Kemi Koleowo, the NGO stated that it is increasingly difficult for Nigerians to go about their daily routine without fear.
They pointed out that “Kidnappings, terror attacks, shootings and bombings has made it incredibly difficult for Nigerians to move from one part of the country to the other”
The group also expressed great concern about the lives lost on Sunday 5th of June at the St Francis Church in Owo. Whilst expressing condolences to the families of the bereaved, CPE also called on the Ondo state government to ensure that perpetrators are fished out and punished.
