Covenant Child Academy Set For 15th Annual Inter-House Sports Competition

Covenant Child Academy has announced the date for its 15th Annual Inter-House Sports Event. The educational citadel, which is one of the leading schools in Nigeria, scheduled the event as follows:

Date: Thursday, February 20th, 2020

Time: 9:00 am prompt

Venue: Teslim Balogun National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos

The school has expressed its commitment
to ensuring that students develop not only academically, but also maintain good
physical fitness by engaging in several sporting activities and games that
would ensure that they stay in peak physical conditions so as to develop
students who are not only intelligent but fun-filled and well-balanced in every
area of life and learning.

Established in 2000, Covenant Child Academy has recorded 14 previous editions of the Annual Inter-House sports and has continually shown that it is an educational institution that is passionate about developing students academically and several other extra-curricular activities that would sharpen students educationally, physically, creatively and innovatively so that they can contribute immensely to the development and growth of their immediate society and Nigeria as a whole.

The sporting event would feature several
exciting activities that would test the fitness, endurance, and limits of the
students in activities such as aiming the baskets, shot balls, mixing the
colours, athletics, football, ball picking, basketball, long jump, volleyball
and many more exciting activities with several awards for winners.

The school has encouraged and has also
collaborated with educational facilitators, industries, banks and individuals
in the past on several educational projects, scholarships, financial support
for less privileged students and is looking to utilize the Inter-House sport
event as a springboard to extend a hand of love to less privileged children
through education.

Several nationally recognized
institutions and organizations would be gracing the event to support and
encourage sporting activities among youths and teenagers as a viable means of
discovering and unravelling future sporting prospects who would be future
representatives of the country in several sporting events.

their support and encourage the spirit of sportsmanship.
