Corona Secondary School is a residential, co-educational school with the aim to create well-rounded students who are proudly Nigerian, able to express themselves and their culture in any environment either locally or internationally. The school, located at Yenagoa Road, Agbara Estate provides our students with a peaceful and natural environment where they can study and thrive free from the stress of city life. This environment provides ample space for sports; students have access to football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, athletics and badminton as well as more unusual sports such as Taekwondo.

Academic Diversity and Excellence

Corona Secondary School is
the only school accredited by NEASC and runs the ACCA Programme in Nigeria, and the second school for the study of
German Language in partnership with the Goethe Institute. The school offers the
Nigerian/British Curriculum, which
prepares students for SSCE, IGCSE, UTME, SAT, IELTS, ACCA, DELF, BECE and CHECKPOINT.

The school is very engaged in a rich mix
of after-school activities at different times within the school year. This
variety means that the students are positively engaged while honing their

the UN Day, Career Day, Cultural Day and Mufti Day, as well as the Voice and
the Corona Ultimate Man competitions held in the school.

Facilities

The school runs a boarding system. The
Boarding Facilities are first-rate, and is made up of cozy, fully furnished
rooms in the hostel buildings, each room housing only five students. The
facilities have a constant supply of power ensuring a conducive atmosphere for
studying, playing or resting. Beyond the physical facilities offered at the
boarding home is pastoral care for the children by a caring and dedicated team
of staff led by the Vice Principal Pastoral. All these make the students get
the pleasant feel of home at school.
