Bloombreed School is the first Google-certified top
leading digitized Nursery, Primary and Secondary schools in Port Harcourt. The
school has two campuses, both located in serene areas of Port Harcourt. The Day school is
located at Choba, Opposite NTA and the Full Boarding School at Boskel Road, Port Harcourt. The tranquil
environs give the school an aura of “a home away from home” and provide a
conducive learning atmosphere.
The school’s focus is on the overall development of the child, which is
achieved by providing superior infrastructure and a caring environment based on

Academic Structure
and Curriculum
Founded in 1998 by Mrs. Olufunke Sunmonu who had a strong passion to
inculcate the fear of God in children to transform them into exemplary leaders,
the school has grown from
a burgeoning Nursery and Primary School into a vibrant co-educational, Day and
Boarding High School. The Day School
runs classes from crèche to Year 12 while the Boarding School runs classes from Year 7 to Year 12 irrespective of
the children’s cultural or religious backgrounds. This successful evolution has
placed them in a distinct position to offer children a smooth and stable
transition in their academic journey as well as assuage every parent’s search
for quality education.
Bloombreed School is regarded as one of the
best schools in Nigeria with an impressive record of academic achievements, not
least of them being the exceptional students’ performances in both WAEC and
IGSCE examinations as well as gaining scholarships into top institutions
worldwide.
The school operates with both the Nigerian and British Curricula. This helps to give the children a well-rounded education which prepares them to sit for the following examinations: IGSCE, SAT, WAEC, JAMB, BECE – NECO, and Cambridge Checkpoint.
School Facilities
The structures and facilities are second to
none as Bloombreed strives to be the best among the best. Bloombreed is
strongly committed to providing a wholesome digitized educational foundation
for the development of the total child. Children are equipped with top-notch
technology tools such as the Google Powered Chromebooks to ensure that they
become societal fits as they graduate from Bloombreed to face a fast-paced
world of technology. There has, over the years, been some notable
technological advancement. These include, but are not limited to, the Google
Powered Chromebooks for our Google Classrooms, the use of Khan Academy in our
daily learning at our Computer Based Test Centre and our Automated Library.
To ensure the safety of the children in the
school, the school has imbibed certain security measures on the premises. Among
these are Fire Drills and Designated
Safety Officers with Security Outfits and Technology. Bloombreed School
is also committed to the prevention of child
abuse and to the protection of children in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the
Rights of the Child, of which the
Federal Republic of Nigeria is a signatory. All employees are trained at
intervals on child protection issues by a qualified child protection
consultant.

Examination Dates
Bloombreed Schools have announced their Entrance Examination dates for
the 2020/2021 Academic Session. The dates
are as follows:
