In a bid to bolster educational access in Nassarawa State, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, paid a high-profile visit to Nelfund’s headquarters on Monday. Nelfund, an organization dedicated to advancing educational inclusion, hosted the Deputy Governor to explore collaborative efforts for bridging educational gaps in the state.
During the meeting, described as “mutually beneficial” by both parties, discussions centered on joint strategies to enhance educational opportunities. Dr. Akabe commended Nelfund’s progressive initiatives, particularly its student loan schemes aimed at easing financial constraints for students.
Praising the agency’s efforts, he stated, “Education is the cornerstone of development, and working together with agencies like Nelfund is essential to achieving universal access.”
The courtesy visit concluded with renewed commitments from both Nelfund and the Nassarawa State Government to intensify their collaboration, focusing on impactful strategies to make education accessible to all.
