35 test positive for COVID-19 at Ogun NYSC camp

Tomi Coker, the State Commissioner for Health, said this while addressing reporters in Abeokuta on the outbreak of COVID-19’s third wave in the state.

Some members of the corps have been confined to isolation centers, while others have been placed on home management, according to her.

“The number of NYSC members that have tested positive is 35. Some are on home management, while some are in the isolation center,” she said.

The Commissioner raised concerns that the number of cases in Ogun has continued to grow since the beginning of August, with at least 7 to 16 cases being reported every day.
