My name is Oluwagbemisola Jejeloye, and I am an ardent and dedicated educator with extensive experience in teaching science subjects. It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome back our future leaders to this institution of learning after a well-deserved break from their academic pursuits.

As a committed and innovative teacher, I am determined to uphold the highest standards of excellence in both teaching and learning this academic year. As a faculty member at Landmark College, Ikorodu, I am thrilled to welcome my students back after the holiday break. I am Timothy Adegunle, an experienced educator specialising in English Language and Literature-in-English, with over twenty years of dedicated service in the field. I am currently teaching at Debiruss College, located along the Ajah-Epe expressway in Lekki, Lagos.

As we approach the start of a new academic session, I am filled with enthusiasm and anticipation. I eagerly await the arrival of both new and returning students who have shown remarkable zeal and eagerness to embark on this educational journey. The recent three-week break allowed me ample time to recharge and rejuvenate, providing me with the energy and vitality necessary to resume my duties with renewed vigour.

As the Head of Department, I have set forth several resolutions for the upcoming session. My focus is to implement a series of strategic policies aimed at maintaining and enhancing the department’s tradition of excellence and leadership within the school. One key initiative involves assigning the most experienced teachers to both the introductory and final classes. As a Yoruba man, I have a profound appreciation for Yoruba proverbs, which adeptly capture the complexities of various situations with cultural richness and depth. In essence, my preferred expressions of wisdom are found within these proverbs, which provide valuable insights into both personal and professional circumstances.

Olarewaju Christiana Oluwayemisi
