10 Things Parents of Prospective Students are looking for in your School

We bought our first house in Lekki. It was the perfect first house – four beds, five baths, two decent kitchens and two living rooms just the right size. We made the decision to buy this house when we found out we were expecting our second daughter, we knew we needed more space and room to grow.

My husband and I desired that our children attend the best schools where all the right values are imparted and they grow up to be well-rounded individuals. We began the hassle of looking for a good school in our new neighborhood and it’s surrounding. Even if we have to pay for a school bus or drop them off every morning, we do not mind.

We visited a few schools, attended their classes, the libraries, and the playgrounds to get information of how the school runs. Some administrators allowed us to attend their parent-teacher meetings to get insiders’ perspectives. We eventually picked one with the expectations on our list, not all, but at least, perfect for us. One thing we also did was doing a lot of asking around.
